About Interactive worlds

Interactive Worlds are flexible, topic-based digital resources for young learners aged 10-14. The resources can be used by teachers on an interactive whiteboard or in a media centre by students. Each world is divided into six zones which can be explored in any order.

Key features:

• audio and video clips with links to other school subjects

• vibrant images and graphics that will appeal to young learners

• interactive activities – from drag-and-drop exercises to memory games

• online teacher’s notes providing suggestions for lead-in and follow-up practice for every zone
